William Sandberg, CEP
President and Founder
Will founded Utah Senior Planning with the vision of making it easier for seniors and veterans to access public benefits. Since 2007, he has been a pioneer in Medicaid planning in the state of Utah. He is a certified estate planner, an avid BYU fan, and a father of three.
Landon Sandberg, JD
Executive Vice President
Working along side his brother Will, Landon has helped to establish Utah Senior Planning as an innovative leader in long-term care planning. He has been instrumental in the company's growth.
Landon earned his Juris Doctorate from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. He specializes in Medicaid planning, both pre-planning and crisis. Landon is also a V.A. Accredited Attorney.
Casey Stettler, JD
V.A. Accredited Attorney
Casey spends the majority of his time working with veterans and their spouses. He is a frequent lecturer on V.A. non-service connected pension benefits.
Casey attended Drake University School of Law and received his Juris Doctorate degree in December 2013.
Zach Bloxham, JD
Attorney at Law
Zach heads our appellate division, arguing on behalf of client interests. He counsels on areas of administrative law and policy — with an emphasis in Medicaid policy and Veteran benefits. Zach is a V.A. Accredited Attorney.
He is a member of the Utah Bar Constitutional Law Section and the Utah Bar Appellate Section. Zach received his Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University School of Law.
Prior to joining Utah Senior Planning, Kelly had a 20 year career in nursing, including experience in long-term care nursing facilities. Her knowledge of medical practices and familiarity with the needs of long-term patients and their family members is an irreplaceable asset to our team.
Kelly is our liaison with the state Eligibility Specialists; she has played a major role in the development of our processes for filing applications for public benefits. She has been with the company since 2011.
Long-Term Care Medicaid Advisor
Prior to his position as a Long-Term Care Medicaid Adviser, Anthony served as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal expert in the U.S. Air Force. A veteran of the Iraq War, Anthony is passionate about helping fellow veterans, as well as seniors, through the application process for public benefits from both the Department of Veteran Affairs and state Medicaid assistance.
Anthony earned dual degrees in Philosophy and English from Weber State University. He has been with the company since 2013.
With experience in both customer service and back-office processes, Riley is proficient in Long-Term Care Medicaid eligibility requirements, reviewing financial records and the Medicaid application process.
Long-Term Care Medicaid Advisor
After working as a loan officer for a major credit union, Jessica joined the team in 2014. She has experience in both benefits advising as well as applications for public benefits. She is knowledgeable in eligibility requirements for Long-Term Care Medicaid and the V.A. Aid and Attendance Pension.
Janet keeps our office running smoothly, providing secretarial and customer service work. She is an integral part of the Utah Senior Planning team and assures that all of our employees have the necessities to assist our customers with anything they might ask. Janet is an Idaho native and enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Hailing from Ohio, Ms. Armbruster speaks to clients and provides a liaison between our office and those customers and facilities we serve. Valarie is a member of the United States Air Force.
A recent graduate of Weber State University, where he played collegiate hockey, Cody assists our team by providing training in business efficiency and customer service.
